This policy explains how RetireSardinia processes the personal data of website visitors and of clients of our relocation service. We care about your privacy as much as about your new life in the sun.
Data controller

Data we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may process the following categories of data:
- Contact data: name, email and the message you send us.
- Standort-Check data: nationality, pension situation, current residence and lifestyle preferences.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, device type and technical cookies.
Why we process your data
We use your data to respond to your request, provide your indicative Standort-Check result, contact you about the Relo-Hub package and comply with legal obligations. Only with your consent do we send you informational communications.
Legal basis
We process your data to perform the contract and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), to comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), on the basis of our legitimate interest in improving and protecting the service (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where required, on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
Who we share data with
We share your data only with the IT service providers needed to run the site and send emails (hosting and email), appointed as data processors. We never sell or rent your data to third parties for marketing.
Transfers outside the European Union
Your data is processed primarily within the European Union. Where a provider involves a transfer outside the EU, it will only take place with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep your data
We keep your data for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by applicable legal obligations (in particular tax obligations, 10 years). After that, the data is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
As a data subject you have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy;
- request its rectification or erasure;
- request restriction of, or object to, the processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
Cookies
The site uses only technical cookies necessary for it to work. We do not use profiling or marketing cookies.
